Je suis Consolateur Mikobi Mbantshi et je suis né et j’ai grandi au Congo où j’ai rencontré ma belle femme congolaise Nfutu Wese Djamano. Ayant grandi dans une famille chrétienne, le christianisme est devenu le centre de notre attention. Connaître et suivre l’enseignement de Jésus-Christ est un must. Par conséquent, mon père m’a enseigné l’enseignement du christianisme afin de connaître la signification cachée de la Bible. J’ai été bien apprécié et respecté par ma communauté ainsi que par les prêtres pour ma détermination et ma volonté de connaître le Christ. Avec ma détermination, mon père voulait que je devienne prêtre catholique.

Au cours de mes études secondaires, à l’âge de 17 ans, un de mes amis m’a parlé de Jésus d’une manière différente de celle de mes habitudes. J’étais convaincu de son point de vue et j’ai donné ma vie à Jésus. J’ai accepté Christ comme mon Seigneur et Sauveur. Le temps a passé et j’ai continué ma passion pour le catholicisme.

Après 2 ans, je suis allé au Rwanda dans un séminaire de théologie. Jour après jour, je n’avais plus ni la force ni la motivation pour continuer. Ce n’était pas facile pour moi car je faisais des choses pour plaire aux autres. En d’autres termes, je faisais semblant d’être quelqu’un plutôt que moi-même. Je l’ai fait dans le seul but de respecter ma famille et la discipline de ma formation. Après 6 ans, j’ai décidé de quitter le monastère pour une vie normale afin d’avoir une tranquillité d’esprit. Mes parents en étaient très fâchés et ils m’ont tous tourné le dos.

J’étais dans une situation difficile à Kinshasha. J’étais sans-abri et en mauvais état et c’est à ce moment-là que Dieu avec son plan divin et miraculeux est passé. J’ai pu poursuivre mes études où j’ai fini par obtenir un diplôme en théologie. J’avais également quitté la religion pour une église vivante, Damas. J’étais le modérateur et le tuteur des domestiques. J’ai eu ce mandat de mon pasteur, PST Charle Ngoyi, qui peut en témoigner car nous avons toujours de très bonnes relations. J’ai aussi sa bénédiction. Mon frère Cousain m’a invité dans son église, le Centre La Trinite, une église de l’Assemblée de Dieu. Ma vie a changé par les enseignements et la formation biblique que j’ai reçus là-bas. Ces vérités bibliques ont explosé en moi, alors je suis devenu membre de l’Assemblée de l’Église de Dieu. J’ai compris Dieu par la puissance du Saint-Esprit. Je priais avec ferveur et répandais la vérité partout.

Ma femme et moi sommes appelées à l’évangélisation et aux missions. Nous nous sommes mariés en 2013 et quelques mois plus tard, je suis venu aux États-Unis, au Missouri. J’ai commencé à travailler avec les autres. En tant qu’étranger, j’avais une barrière linguistique et j’ai fini par ouvrir une église dans ma langue maternelle, le français. Ça s’est bien passé. Dieu m’a finalement ordonné de venir au Minnesota où j’assiste maintenant à Park Harbour et dirige les ministères français dans l’église.

I am Consolateur Mikobi Mbantshi and I was born and raised in Congo where I met my beautiful Congolese wife Nfutu Wese Djamano. Growing up in a Christian family, Christianity became the center of our attention. Knowing and following the teaching of Jesus Christ is a must. Therefore, my father taught me the teaching of Christianity in order to become knowledgeable about the hidden meaning of the Bible. I was well appreciated and respected by my community as well as the priests for my determination and my willingness to know Christ. With my endeavor determination, my father wanted me to become a Catholic Priest.

In my Jr. year of high school, at the age of 17, one of my friends spoke to me of Jesus in a manner different to that of my habits. I was convinced from his point of view and I gave my life to Jesus. I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior. Time passed by and I continued with my passion in Catholicism.

After 2 years, I went to Rwanda to a Seminary of Theology. Day by day I no longer had the strength nor the motivation to continue. It was not easy for me since I was doing things to please others. In other words, I was pretending to be someone rather than myself. I did it for the sole purpose of respecting my family and the discipline of my training. After 6 years, I decided to leave the monastery for a normal life in order to have a peace of mind. My parents were very upset about it and they all turned their backs on me.

I was in a difficult situation in Kinshasha. I was homeless and in a poor condition and that’s when God with his divine and miraculous plan came through. I was able to pursue my studies where I ended up graduating in theology. I had also left religion for a church that was alive, Damascus. I was the moderator and tutor of servants. I had this mandate from my Pastor, PST Charle Ngoyi, who can testify to this because we still have a very good relationship. I also have his blessing. My brother Cousain invited me into his church, Center La Trinite, an Assembly of God Church. My life changed by the teachings and the Biblical training I received there. These Biblical truths exploded in me, so I became a member of the Assembly of God Church. I understood God by the power of the Holy Spirit. I was fervently praying and spreading the truth all over.

My wife and I are both called to evangelism and missions. We were married in 2013 and a few months later I came to the USA, to Missouri. I began to work with others. As a foreigner, I had a language barrier and I ended up opening a church in my native language, French. It went well. God finally directed me to come to Minnesota where I now attend Park Harbor and lead the French Ministries in the church.
